The existing parking lot at Buda City Park will be replaced with all-weather surface parking spaces.

Current Status:
Doucet & Associates finalized construction plans in late-October and the project was released for bidding in early December 2023.
City Council’s evaluation and selection of a contractor occurred on Jan. 3, 2024. City Council awarded the construction contract to most qualified low bidder, Harris Road Company of Wimberley, Texas, for $603,943.83. Two parking lots were awarded. The North Parking Lot included 70 parking spaces, and the West Parking Lot included 51 spaces, totaling 121 new parking spaces in City Park.
The contractor began construction of the parking lots in late-January 2024. The parking lots are constructed and the project is in the final close out process.
