All-weather surface parking spaces will be added at Buda City Park .

The City of Buda purchased 30 acres of land east of IH35 on June 28, 2024 for the future Eastside Park site.

Garison Park is located just north of downtown Buda along Onion Creek. Phase I of the Garison Park Project improvements as identified in the City’s Capital Improvements Plan includes park and land restoration and construction of parking lots, pavilions, restrooms and trails, including public water access.

Garlic Creek Park is located South of RM 967 and is over 40 acres in size. Phase II of Garlic Creek Trail would include the extension of a natural pedestrian trail within the park with bridges connecting to the White Oak Preserve neighborhood. Phase I of this project was included in the 2014 Bond election.

The construction of a new pavilion and expansion of the basketball court is planned for Green Meadows Park. This pavilion will complement the existing splash pad.
Lighting enhancements are planned for Stoneridge Park.

The City of Buda is planning for construction of a multi-use trail of approximately 7,700 feet that runs along Onion Creek.
